As a National Business Development, you will be responsible for the development customer relationships and sales, assisting the company in meetings or exceeding it sales goals within identified markets. Using your product and industry knowledge you will work with the SVP Business Development, Marketing, and a Pro Services team to establish and execute a strategic sales plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Meet quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Prospect, pitch and close key deals with business prospects
  • Manage pipeline
  • Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs
  • Qualify leads
  • Schedule demonstrations
  • Initiate and strategize Proof of Concepts (POC) for potential customers
  • Assist in the proposal process
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Act as the liaison between customers and internal teams

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of initiating and successfully driving new business opportunities in the financial industry
  • Ability to develop and manage pipeline of opportunities and convert prospects to clients
  • Ability to qualify leads and focus on opportunities that have the most strategic and financial impact on the agency
  • Track record of consistently meeting revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to target and penetrate key prospects and influence decision-makers
  • Ability to understand client stated and unstated business goals
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in solving strategic and operational business problems
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical sales approach with focus on building trust and relationships with senior level clients
  • Self-driven, confident and analytical as well as possess excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Candidates must have at least 10 years of relevant work experience in financial and enterprise software related fields

 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Job requires prolonged periods of sitting (up to 7 hours) at a workstation operating a PC
  • Must be willing and able to travel extensively
